Frank & Thema Grandinetti

It was 1940 when Frank Grandinetti met Thelma Balzano.
Frank was a handsome Sicilian vendor of fruit and vegetables
in the manufacturing area of lower downtown Denver.
Thelma worked on the second floor of a garment manufacturer.
One day when Thelma leaned out of her window to flirt with
the handsome vendor, Frank tossed her an apple.
Their romance was nurtured by food and fun that eventually
blossomed into the family's restaurant, Pagliacci's.
For lovers of Italian food, the rest is history.
